Watch Foo Fighters Unveil A Brand New Song, Cover Queen With Dave Grohl’s 8-Year-Old Daughter On Drums

Foo Fighters have kicked off their new European tour in epic fashion, debuting a freshly squeezed tune and busting out a very unexpected guest.

During their spot at Iceland’s ridonkulous Secret Solstice festival, the Fooies wheeled out Dave Grohl’s adorable 8-year-old daughter Harper to replace Taylor Hawkins on the tubs for a cover of Queen’s classic ‘We Will Rock You’.

“My daughter said ‘Daddy, I want to play the drums.’ And I said, ‘Okay, you want me to teach you?’ She said yes. And then I said, ‘Do you want to get up on stage in front of 20,000 people in Iceland and play?’ And she said yes,” Grohl told the crowd of (we’re presuming) 20,000 people before launching into a drums-only rendition of the iconic Queen anthem. “There’s another Grohl at the drum set now.”

But that’s not all, tea Foos also came bearing new music. Not only did they deliver the live debuts of fresh tracks ‘Run’ and ‘The Sky is a Neighborhood’, they also unveiled a bran spanker dubbed ‘Lah Di Da’.

The high-paced track is a start-to-finish dual guitar riff assault and packing that classic Foos sound (we actually heard a bit of it back in February during their surprise UK gig).
