We’ve seen rappers plough their way through some pretty interesting circumstances. Most of us still can’t get over last month’s footage of Action Bronson staying on-beat as he took a mid-song toilet break. But perhaps even more impressive is our own Iggy Azalea‘s gravity-defying rhyme-spitting.
During a performance of her hit Fancy at an MTV Video Music Awards benefit show in LA, the Mullumbimby native fell off the stage mid-verse and just kept right on rapping, finishing the song, and later sharing footage of the tumble to her Instagram account. “I know I laughed,” she wrote.
Best of all, Azalea’s resilience during the fall that spawned the hashtag #PoorIggy and made “That I-G-G-BYE” a trending topic across social media isn’t her first display of Aussie mettle. Witness her handling sound problems during an appearance on Dancing with the Stars back in May right here.
