WATCH: Tyler, The Creator Verbally Abuses Woman At Sydney Show

Not happy with just being accused of racism and homophobia, Odd Future member Tyler, The Creator has been giving his misogyny a healthy workout since landing in Australia, calling a woman who spoke out against him a bitch, whore, c**t and slut on stage at his Sydney show.

The woman was 24-year-old Talitha Stone, a member of the feminist group Collective Shout, who this week started a social media campaign to have Tyler’s touring visa cancelled, under the grounds that he “promote(s) hate speech against women, perpetuating male entitlement to use women’s bodies…Tyler the Creator’s glorification of rape and violence against women could be considered inciting his fans to commit violent crimes against them.”

In response, 22-year-old Tyler retweeted Stone’s message of protest, which led to hoards of abusive messages from angry Odd Future fans. He then let loose on stage in Sydney, dedicating a song to Stone and ripping into her with every anti-woman explicative you can think of. Stone was actually in the audience at the gig and told the Guardian, “I was petrified. I was standing among the crowd of people who were chanting along with threats towards me.”

Tyler took to Twitter to call the show “the best” and, ironically, the very in-store appearance Stone talked about protesting in her tweet ended up being shut down by riot police due to the sheer volume of fans in attendance. Tyler’s Australian tour wraps up in Brisbane tonight.
