Liam Gallagher has thrown some harsh words towards U2 after being asked whether he’s going to go to their show.
A Twitter user sent a tweet Gallagher’s way attempting to rile him up by asking whether he was going to go and see the support act.
The support act for the Europe and UK leg of U2’s ‘Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary Tour’ is Noel Gallagher so naturally Liam had some choice words to fire back.
Surprisingly though, they were directed at U2 and not at his brother.
“I’d rather eat my own shit than than listen to them bunch of beige fucks as you were,” he said before adding they that were, “toff rock”.
Liam is back on the stage for the first time since Beady Eye split, launching his own debut album As You Were.
Noel, on the other hand, had some very kind things to say about U2 when he was announced as the support, calling their live performances, “the greatest show on earth”.
