Confession Announce Surprise ‘March 23’ Reunion Show In Melbourne

Defunct metalcore band Confession have announced a surprise reunion show in their hometown of Melbourne, featuring a number of former members.

After teasing fans with the date of March 23 (the title of the band’s song of the same name) earlier this month, members of the Michael Crafter-fronted group confirmed today that they will perform at Stay Gold Melbourne on Saturday, 23rd March, after breaking up back in 2016.

“March 23 was written for my daughter Kennedy and the lyrics mean so much to me, so when everything fell into place for this date and show, I just had to take it,” said Crafter.

The show will see Crafter joined by Confession drummer Jake Dargaville (Life and Death), guitarist Adam Harris (The Long Way Home, Cancer, Can’t Live Can’t Breathe) and Buried In Verona’s Richie Newman and BJ.

Crafter was due to reunite his other band I Killed The Prom Queen at this year’s UNIFY Gathering festival, but the band was removed from the lineup back in August following backlash over derogatory comments made by Crafter on social media.

Confession released their latest album Life And Death in 2014.
