Splendour In The Grass Announces 2019 Dates

As the summer festival season begins to wind down, all Aussie eyes and ears are getting in tune to the juggernaut that is Splendour In The Grass and we finally know when it’ll be going down.

As per usual, SITG will be happening towards the end of July – specifically from Friday, 19th – Sunday, 21st July.

The festival, taking place at North Byron Parklands once again, will also be open for onsite camping from Wednesday, 17th July.

While we have literally no idea of what artists will be taking the stage at this year’s SITG, one artist we might want to keep an eye on is Tame Impala. Kevin Parker and co. are taking on many festivals across the year so far, and also have a new album on the horizon. They haven’t played the festival since 2015 so they are long overdue.

Splendour In The Grass is also one of the festivals that make up the Australian Festival Association (AFA) that, among other things, are calling for the government to implement pill testing in response to the five drug-related deaths at festivals over the past couple of months.

So get your mates and your leave sorted, because SITG is coming.
