US rapper Jarren Benton is heading down to Australia for his first tour of the country since 2015.
The Atlanta-based emcee will touch down on our shores later this month to perform three east coast headline dates in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Benton began making a name for himself on the outsider indie label Funk Volume, where he carved out a unique brand of ferociously lyrical, tongue-in-cheek horrorcore.
“People were introduced to me as the ‘Skitzo’ guy” he says, harking back to his breakout single. “They had a certain expectation that was very outlandish, very lyrical. Lately its’ been more personal.”
He’s now heading down under armed with his latest album, Yuck Fou.
