The wonderful Vampire Weekend took to Instagram back in January to tell us of their new album and promised us two new songs each month in the lead up to its release.
The album, Father Of The Bride is out just next month (omg) Friday, 3rd May and they’ve kept their promise (mostly) with ‘2021’ and ‘Harmony Hall’, then ‘Big Blue’ and ‘Sunflower’. Now, we have another two tracks: ‘This Life’ and ‘Unbearably White’.
It feels like they’ve released half an album already, but given Father Of The Bride is 18 songs and 59 minutes long — there’s still so much to come next month.
The first couple of singles off of the album marked their return after leaving fans somewhat in the dark for six years.
