Alex Lahey & Kwame Are Taking Over Triple J’s ‘Home & Hosed’ For The Next Fortnight

Two of Aussie music’s brightest stars are helping out the station that catapulted their success over the next two weeks, as Alex Lahey and Kwame step in to host Triple J‘s ‘Home & Hosed’ show while Declan Byrne takes a bit of a break.

‘Home & Hosed’ airs from 9pm Monday through Thursday, with Lahey taking the reigns this week and Kwame hopping in to help next week.

Both artists seem pretty bloody chuffed with the opportunity. Lahey spoke about ‘Home & Hosed’ was actually the first show that played her music on the station.

“Home & Hosed was the first show on triple j to ever play my music and I’m so pumped to be sitting in the presenters chair this week to play some of my favourite new Australian tunes!” she said in a statement.

Kwame is equally pumped about the opportunity, saying “I’m beyond excited to be hosting Home & Hosed! I cannot wait to share the music I’m loving in Australia as well as connecting with the nation through sonic vibes!”

“We’re about to create a moment!”

As for their worlds outside Triple J, Lahey is on the verge of releasing her second album, The Best Of Luck Club, and she’s heading out on a huge nationwide tour. As for Kwame, he has just wrapped up a tour of his own in support of his huge track ‘Clouds.’
