Last week we reported that Banks had new music incoming. Now, the alt-pop goddess has delivered on her promise and given us a stunning new track, ‘Gimme’.
Marking the first taste we have of her upcoming new album, scheduled for release at some point this year, ‘Gimme’ is the first bit of new music we’ve heard from Banks since she dropped one-off song ‘Underdog’ in late 2017.
“It’s about knowing what you deserve, saying it out loud, and demanding it with no apologies,” she said in a statement (via NME). “I’m ready to release this into the world and begin a new chapter.”
Banks’ last album Goddess was released in 2016, and she was last in Australia in 2017 for Splendour In The Grass.
