Courtney Love Says A Hole Reunion Could Be On The Cards (For Real This Time)

Yet again, the idea of a Hole reunion seems like a possibility, with Courtney Love teasing the news in a recent chat with The Guardian in honour of classic album Live Through This turning 25 last month.

“We are definitely talking about it,” Love says, addressing the possibility of a reunion tour to celebrate the band’s tragedy-plagued sophomore LP’s silver jubilee.

“There’s nothing wrong with honoring your past; I’ve just kind of discovered that. If you don’t, people will rewrite history and you will become an inconvenient woman.”

Hole officially broke up back in 2002, but there have been brief glints of hope for a full reunion since 2010. The band’s mid-90’s lineup came together in 2012 to perform a brief set following a screening of drummer Patty Schemel’s documentary Hit So Hard.

Love then went on to tease reunions in 2013 and 2016, both of which sadly never materialised.

Could 2019 be the year it finally happens?
