Pop powerhouse Jack River returns today with ‘Later Flight’, a bold and impactful new single. The track’s also copped a video to accompany it, one that sees her teaming up again with frequent collaborator Matt Sav.
Debuting overnight on BlackBook in the US, ‘Later Flight’ sees River revel in the moments of now that tend to be missed by an absent mind. Co-produced with Styalz Fuego, the track sees River step more into her own, continuing to solidify herself as a global pop force to be reckoned with.
“‘Later Flight’ is a song about freedom. I’ve always danced around writing an honest love song, but ‘Later Flight’ is a direct and candid world of big feels, big highs and big hopes,” she said. “For so long my songs have revolved around the past and future, this song marks a new chapter of songs from the present and the heart.”
During the writing of the track, she became fixated on the moment and in wanting to finish the production then and there, she needed to book a later flight home. “This feeling of rushing, loving and dreaming of home drove the song to where it is,” she said.
