Watch Taylor Swift’s Tiny Desk Concert

It’s been a big year for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. First, Lizzo broke the internet with her powerful acoustic renditions of her self-love anthems. Now, Taylor Swift – the world’s biggest musician who is used to stadiums and stadiums only – has sat behind the desk and performed intimate versions of some of her latest hits.

Before performing her four song set, she noted that she “wrote everything on one instrument first.”

She also said that this set is “an opportunity to show you guys how the songs sounded when I first wrote them.”

She performed ‘The Man’, ‘Death By A Thousand Cuts’ and the title track from her latest album Lover. On top of that, she performed Red cut and fan favourite ‘All Too Well’.

Swift was scheduled to perform at this year’s Melbourne Cup, but she pulled out due to “scheduling conflicts” and following a widespread backlash.
