The Mods are coming…
The band Iggy Pop famously called the “Undoubtedly, absolutely, definitely the greatest rock ’n’ roll band in the world” Sleaford Mods are touring Australia for the first time ever in 2020!
Already heading down under for a slew of music festivals including Farmer & the Owl, Golden Plans, A Festival Called Panama and WOMADelaide next year, the politically-charged English electronic punk duo have just unveiled their debut run of Aussie headlining dates.
They’ll be hitting stages in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth next February and March.
On the topic of finally touring down under, lyricist Jason Williamson says: “After a load of grief online about not playin’ Australia, we’re finally coming. Me and Andrew are big fans of your music scene, you’ve got some quality bands breaking through so we’re lookin’ forward to it. Buzzin’!”
