Dave Grohl made his way down to Sesame Street recently, where he linked up with new friends Big Bird and Elmo.
In a new video, the Foo Fighters frontman joins the beloved puppets to sing a song called ‘Here We Go Song’ while traveling around the country and making new friends.
“Oh, hi everybody. This is our friend, Mr. Dave Grohl,” announces Elmo in the new clip, shared to YouTube ahead of Sesame Street’s 50th season beginning later this month.
“Hi, it’s nice to come here and be with my friends Big Bird and Elmo,” replies Grohl, before adding “You know, I was just thinking: there’s friends everywhere, even the ones that you don’t know.”
Big Bird asks, “How can you have friends that you don’t know?” Grohl explains, “I just mean there’s lots of people all across America we could be friends with, we just haven’t met them yet.”
The trio then traverse throughout the United States, singing together about their travels and meeting new friends.
