Matt Okine & Alex Dyson are just weeks away from making their long awaited reunion at the 2019 Aria Awards, and to keep the hype up they’ve dropped a truly fried parody of the iconic music video for Vance Joy‘s ‘Riptide’.
The parody features clips of Okine reprising his Sia get-up, Dyson escaping a kidnapping and both of them in the finest emo outfits we’ve seen on this side of the My Chemical Romance reunion.
The reunion will see the beloved radio duo present the Best Video award at this year’s ceremony, for which Jessica Mauboy, Thelma Plum, Baker Boy, PNAU, Briggs, G Flip, Guy Sebastian, Tones & I, Hilltop Hoods and Sampa The Great are all nominated.
The 2019 ARIA Awards will take place at The Star in Sydney on Wednesday, 27th November and will be hosted by Best Video nominee Guy Sebastian.
