Watch This Extremely Metal Marriage Proposal From Good Things In Melbourne

Ice Nine Kills’ set at Good Things in Melbourne last week was extra-special for these newlyweds after a punter proposed while the band were playing.

Footage was published by Wall of Sound on Friday before being reshared by the Good Things Facebook page. The video sees the the man, James Smith, kneel down on one knee surrounded by a cheering audience and presenting his now-fiancée Cassandra Robertson with a wedding ring. Robertson begins enthusiastically nodding and accepts the ring on her finger.

Literal seconds later, Ice Nine Kills can be heard going into a massive breakdown. It’s somehow both extremely metal and extremely wholesome all at once.

Smith later took to Facebook to share a snap, which shows him wearing a T-shirt saying “She said YES! (bout time I asked).”

“This is truly a Good Thing! Congratulations to the newly engaged couple” wrote Good Things on Facebook.
