Ability Fest Announces 2020 Lineup

Dylan Alcott’s completely inclusive festival, Melbourne’s Ability Fest, is making its return in 2020 after a successful two years and it is bringing with it an absolutely massive lineup.

Spearheading the bill is EDM hero What So Not, rock favourites The Preatures and rap sensation Seth Sentry. The event will be one of What So Not’s final shows before going on hiatus.

Elsewhere on the bill are the likes of SAFIA, Boo Seeka, Crooked Colours, Set Mo, KLP and stacks more.

“A music festival for anybody, no matter their race, ability, gender,” Alcott told Triple J‘s Veronica & Lewis this afternoon.

“Able-bodied people come, too. It’s a normal party, we just have some added accessibility features [and] tried to show other festivals like the Splendours and Falls what to do.”

The festival is decked out with features that make it far more accessible for everyone. Raised viewing platforms, guide dogs, ramps, sensory quiet areas, AUSLAN interpreters and more will all be at the event.

Registration for pre-sale is open now, and you can sign up here.
