We Have More News On Billie Eilish’s New Album

Just a couple of months ago, we heard news that Billie Eilish had already begun writing her new album. Now, we have news, via her brother Finneas, that they’re working on it.

It hasn’t even been a year since we received her debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, you know the one that collected all four major Grammy Awards. But now, Finneas has revealed in an interview they’re already working on the follow up.

“We’ve started working on the new album, and I think the best thing we can do is stay out of our own way. The first album was pretty pure in its intention,” he told Vulture.

“We didn’t set out to write a darling album. Our only target was to make an album that we liked, to play live. I think that’s all we’re gonna do for the second. All the other things are side effects. You can’t aim for those.”

On the new album, Billie Eilish has said, “Honestly, I probably wouldn’t even say if I did know but I don’t know.”

“We only have a few songs and they’re really different from each other, we’re not really trying to sound like anything it’s just whatever we feel we’ve been making. We’ll keep doing that, feeling something and going with it.”

Finneas also told Billboard that new album would be a bit experimental. He said, “I think so far, in album two… there’s just a lot of stories we felt we didn’t get to tell yet.”

There’s no word on when we can expect the new album just yet.

Just recently, Billie Eilish addressed body shaming during her show in Miami. The remainder of the tour was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
