Keeping her winning streak of singles going, E^st has released the latest cut from her debut album – a track titled ‘Maybe It’s Me’.
‘Maybe It’s Me’ keeps the momentum going for E^st, real name Mel Bester, following the release of tracks ‘Fresh Out of Love’, ‘Flight Path’ and ‘Talk Deep’ – the latter charting at #70 on triple j‘s Hottest 100 of 2019.
“My music’s always been driven by my emotional state,” Bester said of the song in a press statement.
“It’s the way I express how I’m feeling, but just as often it’s how I find out how I’m feeling.”
‘Maybe It’s Me’ is taken from her forthcoming debut album I’m Doing It, which is due out Friday, 17th July.
Of the album, E^st said that “it’s about where I’m at right now, and that’s ever-changing.”
“If anything, it’s about who I’m becoming.”
