Melbourne Has A New Lasagne Joint Named After Lana Del Rey, Sorta

Move over Lana Del Rey, Melbourne’s Lasagna Del Rey is here. In all seriousness, Melbourne has a new Lana Del Rey-inspired lasagne spot and they’re delivering the Italiany goodness to your door. Mostly we’re just stoked about the name though.

It’s heat-at-home lasagne that they’re sending out via delivery twice a week. Or you can pick it up on UberEats and Deliveroo.

The new business venture is headed by Melbourne eateries The B.East and Ferdydurke. They’re offering up options too: vegan, chicken, and organic beef. You can pick up a lasagne for two for $25 or a family’s worth for $40.

On the lasagne, they describe it as, “Lavish lasagnas crafted with love in Melbourne, using fresh ingredients from our local heroes. Wear stretchy pants, please.”

Drool.

Chatting to Urban List, the Lasange Del Rey slice creator, Chef Jarrod Moore said, “We wanted to develop an alternative from the same old lasagna formula on the market at the moment. We’ve made three ‘out-of-the-box’ lasagnas—a lot of time and love has gone into selecting our ingredients and the process, giving our lasagnas extra kick-ass flavours!”

“Our Del Rey cheese mix has been developed specifically for lasagnas for maximum melt and crunch, featuring fresh Caciotta and Smoked Scamorza cheeses from That’s Amore cheese in Thomastown, super melty American Jack Cheddar and Italian style Parmesan!”
