King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard have gotten fans excited today after revealing that they’ve got new music coming this week.
Keeping details to themselves as always, the band simply wrote “Midnight Thursday. New Music” across social media, sharing a bunch of pictures of the band in the studio.
While they didn’t explicitly reveal the song’s title, they did also share an image of text over flames that reads “SOME OF US.”
This new song will be the second newbie from the band this year, which is frankly unheard of from one of the most prolific bands on the planet. They released their first single of 2020, ‘Honey’, halfway through last month.
However, the band have still kept their overall output strong with the release of four (!) live albums, including the double whammy of album and feature film Chunky Shrapnel.
In addition, June saw the release of the band’s latest documentary RATTY, which was filmed during the making of their 2019 album Infest The Rats’ Nest.
