Mike Noga, Former Drummer Of The Drones, Has Died Age 43

Mike Noga, former drummer of The Drones and Legends Of Motorsport, has sadly passed away. He was 43 years old.

As reported by ABC, Noga’s family confirmed his passing on Facebook, writing: “We are absolutely devastated to inform you of the passing of our beloved brother, son, uncle and dearest friend Mike.

“We know how much he and his music meant to so many of you and there’s nothing we can say to make this hurt any less.”

“We miss you and love you so much, Mike.”

Noga played drums for The Drones from 2004 to 2014, before choosing to take on a solo career. His most recent solo album, King, dropped almost four years ago to the date in 2016.

ABC also reports that Noga was set to release his next studio album, Open Fire, in early 2021. A month ago, Noga revealed that the album was finished, produced by Low’s Alan Sparhawk and that he’d signed to Part Time Records.

Vale, Mike Noga.
