Melbourne faves, Slowly Slowly have shared a new bop of a single today. ‘The Level’ brings out more of the band’s pop sensibilities without ditching their perfect emo undertones.
‘The Level’ is a lot of fun. Ben Stewart flies through the chorus singing, “I don’t wanna dance with the devil / I just wanna meet you on the level / I’m so sick of being so sentimental now / Help me out.”
It comes with an amazing music video too. The band jams out to the new single in a super retro, lo-fi gig. They’re dressed to the nines too — it’s a vibe.

Race Car Blues Chapter Two was revealed via a video on the band’s Instagram. It features already-released singles ‘Low’, ‘Comets & Zombies’ and today’s ‘The Level’.
Another exciting tidbit revealed in the video? One song is set to feature Sydney pop punkers Yours Truly. Huuuuge.
