Waxflower Drop New Single ‘Not Alone, Announce Debut EP

Brisbane pop punk band, Waxflower have released a new single today. ‘Not Alone’ is another infectiously hooky, delightfully emo offering.

The new single is all about mending. “‘Not Alone’ focuses on the internal struggles of healing. Being able to lean on ourselves and our friends,” the band says.

Along with the new single, the band have announced the release of their debut EP. After dropping three singles in 2019, a further three in 2020, and today, ‘Not Alone’, we’ll be receiving Waxflower’s debut EP in April.

The EP is titled We Might Be Alright and is due for release on Friday, 16th April via Rude Records.

On it, the band says, “It’s an honest representation of what we’ve learnt as a band, with a touch of optimism. We hope you can connect with it.”

It looks like last year’s collab with Eat Your Heart Out’s Caitlin Henry, ‘Again’ will appear on the EP too. How good!

You can listen to ‘Not Alone’ down below. It slaps.

Waxflower will perform tomorrow (Saturday, 6th February) in Brisbane as part of the Mountain Goat Valley Crawl lineup for 2021.
