Karnivool Announce Massive Livestream Concert To Toast 10 Years Of ‘Sound Awake’

After COVID twice chucked a spanner in the works for Karnivool’s plans to embark on a big Australian tour celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their seminal, platinum-selling second album Sound Awake, the Perth progsters are now activating Plan B.

They’ve just announced The Decade of Sound Awake livestream – an exclusive one-off concert event filmed live from the exquisite Heath Ledger Theatre in their home city of Perth and out beamed to the world.

Taking place on Wednesday 12th May at 8pm AEST, the massive livestreamed gig will see the band perform Sound Awake in its entirety, plus a bunch of new material and, captured on film properly for the first time, fan favourite ‘Fade’.

“Diving back into Sound Awake as a complete performance was a sweet reminder of the layers and complexity that make it one of our most important releases.” says frontman Ian Kenny.

“The music pushes and pulls in complex directions, I continue to find something new when lost in its emotional turbulence.”
