Glass Animals Share Video For ‘Space Ghost Coast To Coast’ & The Choreography Is Something

Oxford band Glass Animals have shared the visual for their song ‘Space Ghost Coast To Coast’ this weekend. Taken from last year’s album Dreamland, the track now has a super weird music video.

The video is very Glass Animals and very strange. Frontman, Dave Bayley, has a vibe of a time around Oxford, dancing with his headphones in.

Things get weird like that of a video game glitch and he’s joined by a bunch of nude Sims-like characters. The nude characters and several Dave Bayleys groove around weird scenarios throughout the video.

“The video is a twist on those video games,” says Bayley. “Every video we have made in the last year has been made in peak lockdown… we had to get creative.”

“In this case, Max came up with the idea that he could film me dancing in the park while sitting in his apartment. He was giving me direction the whole time via phone in my earbuds.

“It starts there and gets more and more surreal.”

‘Heat Waves’, also taken from 2020’s Dreamland, scored #1 in last year’s Hottest 100.

Music Feeds was fortunate to have a chat with the band about it earlier this year.

Glass Animals recently performed the 2020 hit on Jimmy Fallon last month.
