Watch King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s Recent Enmore Theatre Show

Back in April, sprawling psych rockers King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard brought their live show to Enmore Theatre, marking their first Sydney show in over a year.

The set was largely comprised of tracks from the band’s last two albums, the microtonal-heavy  K.G. and L.W., plus a handful of picks from 2017 albums Flying Microtonal Banana and Sketches of Brunswick East.

Now, King Gizz have released the entire concert footage on YouTube, as well as releasing the audio as a live album on Bandcamp and streaming platforms. It’s the second time the band – no strangers to dropping live albums – have shared the footage from a recent gig.

In March, they released the full concert video of their headline show at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl the previous month. The setlist similarly drew heavily on K.G. and L.W., among other favourites.

Earlier this month, the wildly prolific King Gizz announced new album Butterfly 3000 – their eighteenth – would drop in June. The band revealed few details about the project, other than describing it as “melodic” and “psychedelic”, and saying no singles would be released in the lead-up to its arrival.
