Brent Faiyaz has released a new single titled ‘Wasting Time’, featuring a verse from Drake, as well as production by The Neptunes – the collaborative project between Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo.
Faiyaz asserts his silky smooth vocal atop The Neptunes’ sultry 90’s influenced RnB production. Drake later offers an impactful rap verse atop an 808-filled bassline, rounding out this masterclass in RnB.
The collaboration is expected to appear on Faiyaz’s upcoming second record, Make It Out Alive, which does not yet have a release date. It will be the follow up to 2020’s Fuck The World.
