ABBA Announce Comeback W/ First Album In 40 Years & A Double Single Drop

It’s been 40 years, but today, ABBA is back. They’ve announced they’re finally releasing the follow up to The Visitors. And this morning, they’ve done a sneaky double single drop.

The two singles are ‘I Still Have Faith In You’ and ‘Don’t Shut Me Down’. The former comes with a nostalgia-filled music video, which the song soundtracks perfectly.

Meanwhile ‘Don’t Shut Me Down’ returns to that groovy disco sound ABBA perfected all those years ago.

Of course, both singles are taken from their forthcoming album, Voyage. We don’t have loads of details just yet, but we do have the album art, which you can peep down below.

“It’s been a while since we made music together,” said ABBA, announcing their big comeback. “Almost 40 years, actually.”

“They say it’s foolhardy to wait more than 40 years between albums, so we’ve recorded a follow-up to ‘The Visitors’.”

“We simply call it “Voyage” and we’re truly sailing in uncharted waters. With the help of our younger selves, we travel into the future. It’s not easy to explain but then it hasn’t been done before.”

The comeback comes after a bunch of fan speculation and a sneaky livestreamed performance overnight.

Watch the nostalgic music video for ‘I Still Have Faith In You’ and have a listen to ‘Don’t Shut Me Down’ below.
