Did Slash Just Tease A New Guns N’ Roses Song?

It seems Guns N’ Roses might have another new tune on the way…

Slash recently posted a teaser video on TikTok, showing himself rehearsing an unreleased song onstage during the band’s soundcheck at Chicago’s Wrigley Field (he didn’t play it during the actual set though).

The track is widely believed to be titled ‘Hard School’, with rumours of its imminent release first circulating last week after frontman Axl Rose reportedly let the details slip to a fan when the pair met backstage at the band’s recent show in Atlantic City.

Short clips of ‘Hard School’ have actually been kicking around the internet for years, after it was recorded during the sessions for GNR’s notorious 2008 album Chinese Democracy, but never made the final record.

If the band do indeed end up giving ‘Hard School’ as official release soon, then it’ll mark the second piece of music to feature reunited Gunners OG’s Slash, Duff and Axl Rose in 28 years, following the release of divisive single ‘Absurd’ last month (which itself was a reworking of another Chinese Democracy outtake, ‘Silkworms’).

Listen to ‘Absurd’, and watch Slash’s ‘Hard School’ teaser, below.

And ICYMI you can (devil horns crossed) catch Guns N’ Roses touring Australia this November.
