Hurray For The Riff Raff have announced a trio of headlining Australian shows for October 2024. They will take place in the lead-up to this year’s Out On The Weekend festival in Williamstown, at which the New Orleans alt-country act will serve as one of the headlining performers. Their full Australian tour schedule can be found below.
The group, fronted by singer-songwriter Alynda Segarra, are touring Australia for the first time in over six years. They last performed here as part of the 2018 Byron Bay Bluesfest, alongside the likes of Leon Bridges, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Robert Plant, the John Butler Trio, Sheryl Crow and Lionel Richie. Since then, Hurray For The Riff Raff have released two studio albums: Life on Earth in February 2022, and The Past is Still Alive earlier this year in February 2024.

Joining Hurray For The Riff Raff at their headlining shows will be Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Annie-Rose Maloney. The former fast-bowler on the Australian women’s cricket team made her debut outing as a musician earlier this year, supporting Angie McMahon on her Making It Through Australian tour from mid-May into early June.
In addition to the newly-announced headlining shows, Segarra and co. will also perform at this year’s Dashville Skyline – the Americana-themed camping festival that takes place in the Hunter Valley compound known as Dashville. They will be joined on the line-up by Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock frontman Ross Wilson, Kingswood, Killing Heidi‘s Ella Hooper and Emma Donovan, among others.
