Angie McMahon Announces 2024 Australian Tour

Angie McMahon has announced her Making It Through Australian tour, which is set to take place in May 2024 in support of her second studio album Light, Dark, Light Again. The Melbourne-based singer-songwriter will be joined on the tour by Annie-Rose Maloney, a former Australian fast-bowler cricket player that has since become a folk musician. A full run of dates is available below.

McMahon is fresh off a run at Laneway Festival for 2024, where she and her band performed on the main stage alongside the likes of Stormzy, Steve Lacy, Dominic Fike, Raye and fellow Australian artists such as Miss Kaninna, Vacations and Teenage Dads. She also kicked off the year with a spot in the triple j Hottest 100 of 2023, coming in at number 67 with her single ‘Letting Go’. On Friday (February 16), McMahon is set to return to the ABC Studios for her second Like a Version.

Angie McMahon – ‘Letting Go’

McMahon announced Light, Dark, Light Again in July of 2023, playing two headlining shows to preview it in September before releasing the album the following month. In addition to ‘Letting Go’, the album also contained the singles ‘Saturn Returning’, ‘Fireball Whiskey’ and ‘Making It Through’ – the lattermost of which the upcoming tour is named after.

Following her tour of Australia, McMahon will then head to New Zealand in June for two shows: One in Wellington at San Fran, and another at Auckland’s Powerstation. She will be joined on both Aotearoan dates by Kee’ahn.

A pre-sale for the tour will run from this Friday (February 16th) at 11am local time via the tour’s promoter, Frontier Touring. A general sale for the tour will then follow next Tuesday February 20th, again at 11am local time. Access to ticketing for all shows on the run can be found below.
