The Terrys Announce New Self-Titled Album, Share Fresh Cut ‘Stay Free’

Gerringong favourites The Terrys have a new album on the way. The indie-rockers have announced their third studio LP Self-Titled will arrive some time later this year.

The news comes seasoned with the arrival of the second cut of the album, the dreamy ‘Stay Free’, produced and mixed by Tasker (3%, Chillint, Tia Gostelow), Sticky Fingers’ Paddy Cornwall and Taras Hrubyj-Piper.

The Terrys – ‘Stay Free’

“2024 was the most challenging year we’ve faced as a band yet,” the band explain in a press statement. “It was also easily the most fun we’ve ever had. On an average morning, The Terry’s would wake up feeling like a dropped meat pie. Asking the question, ‘Are the good times over already?’… next thing we knew, we come to onstage with all our mates, playing a sold-out show in a fancy city like Paris, or Wagga Wagga.”

They continue: “We reckon life is often a laugh-or-cry situation. We choose to laugh and ‘Stay Free’ is our anthem for it. Oh yeah, it’s also our second single off our forthcoming self-titled album. 2025 is the year of the tezza’s baby!”

This new LP will mark The Terrys second in as many years, with sophomore album, 2024’s Skate Pop, debuting at #2 on the ARIA Album Chart.
