The Horrors Kick Off Aussie Tour With Moody, Hit-Heavy Setlist (Here’s What They Played)

UK goth-rock shapeshifters The Horrors have officially touched down in Australia, launching their long-awaited headline tour in Brisbane tonight – and yep, the setlist is looking very tasty for fans heading along this week.

Opening with the brooding The Silence That Remains, the band wasted zero time diving into their shadowy new era, peppering the set with cuts from their latest album Night Life alongside a generous spread of fan favourites. It’s very much the Horrors in 2026: darker, moodier, but still capable of slipping into those shimmering, euphoric moments that hit you right in the chest (Still Life still undefeated, btw).

There were also a couple of treats for the diehards – including a haunting cover of David Bowie’s Heroes in the encore (we love a full-circle moment, especially with that recent Bowie double-cover tease), plus the ever-emotional closer Something To Remember Me By. All up, it’s a tight, atmospheric run that balances old and new nicely – and a solid preview of what’s in store as the tour rolls through the rest of the country.

The tour continues across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth this week – and after a 14-year gap between Aussie headline runs, it’s safe to say… they’ve made it worth the wait.
