US alt-punk shapeshifter Maggie Lindemann is officially back on Aussie soil this Sunday, kicking off her long-awaited return tour in support of her latest album I FEEL EVERYTHING. And if her last visit was anything to go by, things are about to get loud, emotional and very sweaty.
After making a serious impression on local crowds in 2023, Lindemann’s 2026 run marks a full-circle moment, bringing her most evolved and expansive body of work to Aussie stages for the very first time. Blending her signature Y2K pop-punk edge with a more refined, genre-fluid sound, I FEEL EVERYTHING captures an artist stepping into a bold new era – and now, Aussie fans are about to experience it live for the very first time.
Before she dives headfirst into the chaos of touring Down Under – visiting fans in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this month – we caught up with Maggie to find out what she’s most excited about when it comes to returning to Australia – from the fans to the food… and ofc, the kangaroos.
Maggie Lindemann – ‘split’
1. Seeing the fans again
“I’m really excited to see the Australian fans again. They’ve always been so supportive and passionate, and it feels really special to come back and play these shows for them.”
2. Exploring the cities
“I’m excited to actually walk around and see more of the different cities while I’m there. Tour can get so busy, but I always love getting little moments to explore and take in the energy of each place.”
3. Trying the food
“I definitely want to try some good food while I’m in Australia. One of my favorite parts of touring is finding local spots and getting to experience the city outside of just the venue.”
4. Seeing kangaroos!
“I’m obviously excited to see kangaroos. It feels like one of those classic Australia things that never gets old, and I’m hoping I get a chance to see some while I’m there.”
5. Finishing the tour in such a beautiful place
“I’m excited to finish this tour in Australia because it feels like the perfect ending. Touring is chaos, fun, and work all mixed together, so ending it somewhere this special feels really cool.”
