Music Feeds LIVE: The Paper Kites Streaming This Thursday

Melbourne outfit The Paper Kites will be welcoming their debut full-length States into the world this Friday, 30th August, before losing themselves in the album cycle to a hectic run of live tour dates. On the eve of the album drop, the band will be stopping by Music Feeds Studio, as any proudly expecting band would, for a live-streamed performance and interview.

Produced by the ARIA-award winning Wayne Connolly, States sees a noticeable departure from the group’s previous two EPs, Woodland and Young North. The band have focused on broadening their sonic horizons, pushing their soundscape and composition sensibilities to the next level, resulting in a gentle flurry of folk instrumentals coated in vivid lyrics and gorgeous melodies.

Fresh off the back of an extensive run of shows throughout the US and Canada supporting City And Colour, their live skills have been honed to an all-time high. Tune in right here to see what all the fuss is about after 5:00pm AEST this Thursday, 29th August.
