Following a successful debut tour, which saw dream-pop songsmith Davey Lane sweep the East Coast to high critical acclaim, the man is heading back out on the road, cementing his position as one of Australia’s hardest working musicians.
Lane is currently gearing up to release his new EP, titled Tymes Two, slated for release some time in January. But before the highly-awaited release, Lane will be supporting Ian Ball in Victoria and Sydney, playing nowadays-rare solo sets, before a run of full-band shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Lane dropped his debut EP, The Good Borne Of Bad Tymes, last September, releasing it through his own label, Field Recordings. The release quickly picked up momentum and gave Lane a Triple J hit in the form of single You’re The Cops I’m The Crime.
2014 is set to be Davey Lane’s biggest year yet, with a new EP and plans for a full-length album on the horizon, so don’t miss your chance to see this unique Australian artist on his upcoming string of dates. Readers can check all venue and ticketing details below.
