The new Bob Marley documentary Marley will stream on Facebook simultaneously on its release date in American cinemas, Billboard reports.
Marley – which has been directed by Kevin Macdonald – is the first US film to stream concurrently on the social media outlet while making its big screen debut.
The film will be released on Facebook, in cinemas and via video-on-demand on April 20. Facebook users will be able to get Marley for a $6.99 rental, with a portion of the proceeds from the sales going towards the Save the Children charity.
