Donald Glover and the Community gang are getting together for a special COVID-19 relief Charity Event. They’re going to be giving us a virtual table read on Monday, 18th May.
Donald Glover is set to join his old crew, including: Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong, as well as creator Dan Harmon. They’ll be reading from ‘Cooperative Polygraphy’, Episode 4 from Season 5.
The event is set to take place on YouTube on Monday, 18th May at 5pm Eastern which translates to an AEST 7am. They’re asking fans to donate to José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen and Frontline Foods’ COVID-19 relief effort.
Donald Glover left the show after the fifth season, the show continued for one more season after he left. The virtual reading will be his first reunion with the cast since his departure.
The table read will be shown in full and we’ll get a special Q&A too. Fans can submit their questions via social media using #AskCommunity and tagging @CommunityTV.
Glover released his new Childish Gambino album back in March.
