Watch the ‘Friends’ Cast Reminisce, Recreate Iconic Scenes in New Trailer for Reunion Special

The first full-length trailer for the upcoming Friends: The Reunion special has arrived, and it’s one doozy of a nostalgia trip if you’re a fan. It opens with the cast recreating the iconic season four trivia game scene, but instead answering questions about the show.

From there, we get a pretty lengthy glimpse at what the reunion will entail, with Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer all reminiscing on their time filming the show, doing a table read, and getting a little teary. We also see host James Corden ask the cast that all-important question: Were Ross and Rachel on a break?

Last week, we learned about the slew of guest stars that appear as part of the reunion special – we get a look at two of them, Tom Selleck (who played Richard) and Maggie Wheeler (who played Janice) in the trailer.

Other special guests confirmed include David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Lady Gaga, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Kit Harrington, Malala Yousafzai and Mindy Kaling. A number of former Friends cast members will return as well, such as Elliott Gould, Reese Witherspoon, Larry Hankin, Thomas Lennon, and Christina Pickles.

Friends: The Reunion is set to arrive on HBO Max next Thursday, 27th May. Given we don’t currently get HBO Max down under, it’s unclear where or when the special will drop for Aussie audiences, but it’s presumably on the way.
