Instagram, one of the most popular innovations of the 21st century, has revealed it will be taking things one step further. Come 2014, Instagram will be available in a Wi-Fi ready, Bluetooth-enabled, 4.3-inch touchscreen real-life camera.
The features don’t stop there. As Mashable explain, not only will the camera offer filters and effects much like its older brother, it will physically print the photo so you can ‘share’ it with your loved ones AFK. But don’t freak out too much – the camera will also come with a custom operating system that will sync to your Instagram and Facebook accounts, so you will still be able to share things the old-fashioned way – online.
The company, which was taken over by Facebook in a billion-dollar purchase last year, recently crossed over the 1 million user mark. Signs were already showing that it had begun to outgrow the app format and, as you may have noticed, Instagram has set up a personal web profile for you…albeit potentially at the expense of your privacy.
