Josh Thomas’ New Series ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Okay’ Is Coming To Aussie Screens Next Month

Josh Thomas‘ new TV series Everything’s Gonna Be Okay will premiere in Australia via Stan on Friday, 17th January – the same day it hits US screens through American network Freeform.

The first major television project for Thomas since Please Like Me wrapped up at the end of 2016, the ten-episode Everything’s Gonna Be Okay sees the comic and national treasure play Nicholas, a neurotic 25-year-old forced to take care of his two teenage half-sisters after their father’s untimely death.

Based on the trailer below (and Thomas’ work in the past), Everything’s Gonna Be Okay seems like it’ll be equal parts heartfelt, devastating and darkly hilarious.

“Finding an Australian home for Everything’s Gonna Be Okay that could air the episodes at the same time as the US was super important to me, and I’m just so glad we found that in Stan, alongside their other cool, boundary-pushing offerings,” Thomas commented.

After premiering on the 17th, new episodes will be released weekly.
