US attorneys turned Netflix stars Laura Nirider, Steven Drizin and David Rudolf — who you’ll know if you’ve binged Making a Murderer or The Staircase — are heading to Australia this year on a national speaking tour.
Nirider and Drizin are the post-conviction lawyers for Making A Murderer subject Brendan Dassey, while Rudolf famously represented The Staircase subject Michael Peterson, and all three legal eagles will be teaming up to give fans some behind-the-scenes insights into how police and prosecutors tipped the scales of justice in their efforts to convict both men (or boy, in Brendan’s case).
As well as delivering an in-depth discussion of the most important issues that were raised in these cult true-crime docos, the trio will also be fielding Q&A’s from fans.
The speaking tour will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane this March.
