Excellent Dudes, There’s A New ‘Bill And Ted Face The Music’ Trailer & Release Date

We have a brand new trailer for iconic movie sequel Bill And Ted Face The Music along with a new release date. Due to the whole pandemic thing, the film will be released both in cinemas and on On Demand platforms on the same day.

Originally slated for a late August release, the movie is now set to be released Tuesday, 1st September. It’s been a long time coming. Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves originally took on the personas of Bill and Ted back in 1989 and then again in 1991. Now, nearly 30 years later, we’re getting the sequel.

And the trailer looks goooood. We get to see Kid Cudi playing himself, Bill and Ted all grown up, and of course, attending couples therapy together with their wives. And obviously, they travel through time together again to the phone booth.

They enlist the help of their daughters to help them write a song. Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving play Ted and Bill’s daughters: Billie Logan and Thea Preston.

George Carlin, who appeared in the first two films as Rufus passed away in 2008. But, he’s remembered throughout the film. Kristen Schaal’s character Kelly has been named after George Carlin’s IRL daughter, while Bill and Ted find a watch they received from Rufus in the first movie, which contains a message for them.

Watch the trailer below. Bill and Ted is out Tuesday, 1st September.
