Drop Everything, Your Queer Eye Fave Jonathan Van Ness Is Touring Australia Next Year

Big news honeys, Queer Eye icon and hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness has announced he’ll be bringing his live comedy performances to Australian stages next year.

JVN will be taking his Road to Beijing tour to Aussie shores in February 2020, a stand-up act that revolves around the grooming expert’s “lifelong quest” to become a figure-skating prodigy just in time for the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022. Given that it’s a figure-skating themed show by Jonathan Van Ness we’re talking about here, the show promises to be full of “cirque-du-so-gay-realness”.

It’s been a pretty busy year for JVN, who divides his time between filming the uber-popular Queer Eye, his Emmy-nominated GOT recap series Gay of Thrones, along with his podcast Getting Curious. Not to mention now stylishly pirouetting his way into the worlds of stand-up comedy and figure skating, and, oh yeah, writing a bloody memoir.

Tickets go on sale for Van Ness’ Road to Beijing Australian dates this Friday, 2nd August at 2pm – corral the gang together and get ’em here.
