PREMIERE: Linkin Park Meets Alison Wonderland On Debut Lyric Video From Sydney’s RedHook, ‘Minute On Fire’

Sydney rap-rock-electro-pop duo RedHook have dropped their first-ever lyric video for debut single ‘Minute On Fire’, so that you can sing along at home.

RedHook’s maiden tune was produced by Stevie Knight (Trophy Eyes) and Dave Petrovic (Northlane, Tonight Alive) and mixed and mastered by Andrew Wade (A Day to Remember, Neck Deep), and comes together to make a genre-fusing emotionally-driven track which sees vocalist (and Music Feeds reporter) Emmy Mack switch between emphatic screams and softer vocals.

Premiering exclusively via Music Feeds below, the lyric video for the alternative-heavy track (which borrows rap and pop elements) took a lot of effort to put together.

As Emmy Mack explains, “We’ve been deadset floored by all the love since our firstborn ‘Minute on Fire’ came into the world at the start of the month, huge ups to everyone who’s listened, saved and shazammed.

“Now please enjoy all of the song’s bad language brought to life by our talented Irish friend Keith Bogan, who battled against two exploding computers to put this together for us and help people stop singing the wrong lyrics. Legend, mate!”

RedHook are celebrating the release of ‘Minute On Fire’ in Melbourne with a launch show on one of the final ever instalments of Bang! nightclub on Saturday, 30th June, supporting Thornhill.

The duo have just spent a year supporting the likes of Dream on Dreamer, The Getaway Plan and TRAPT, and now with the launch of ‘Minute On Fire’ just over a month ago, they say there’s still more huge tunes to come.

Just FYI, RedHook singer Emmy Mack is also a treasured part of the writing squad here at Music Feeds!
