There’s a hot new project in town making tunes under the name Sir Winston. Their catchy af debut single ‘Everybody Must Dance’ is premiering via Music Feeds today, and we dare you to try and get this one out of your head.
Recorded between studios in Melbourne and New York, ‘Everybody Must Dance’ holds clear sonic influences ranging from David Bowie to LCD Soundsystem to Future Islands and everything in between. The track sees them meld genres, taking influence from a range of sounds including psych-rock and indie-dance.
It’s the first taste of Sir Winston’s debut record which will be coming to us sometime a little later on. The New York based Australian artist says that “The song is a fairytale – about being in love, adventure and the rhythm of life.”
It’s guaranteed to be a song that will soundtrack the best nights and your favourite moments due to its classic, anthemic quality. There’s a reason why this cut’s already being featured in high profile collaborations with the likes of Nike, Victoria’s Secret and more.
