HARD ROCK — He Is Legend
For Fans Of: Slash, Papa Roach
A late inclusion to the Soundwave 2015 bill, American rockers He Is Legend snuck through in the third round of additions. Though not widely known in Australia, the North Carolina foursome have had a prolific career in the ‘States, touring relentlessly off the back of four studio albums and three EPs.
Their take on the rock genre has been unique and varied since their formation in 2003, with the band blending elements of classic rock, grunge, prog and metal with often strange and literary-inspired lyrics to create a sound that is unmistakably their own.
Their latest album, entitled Heavy Fruit, was released in August of 2014. The most recent incarnation of the Soundwave timetable has them down to play Stage 5 at 7.20 pm on Faith No More Day.
