2010 Inner West Festival Announced

On Sunday 4th April, The Sandringham Hotel in Newtown will host a mighty fine line-up of local performers. The inaugural Inner West Festival will be a celebration of the diverse talents of the local community and beyond. There will be a mixture of loud and not so loud bands – some will make you laugh, while others will make you cry.

The Scare will be the more then worthy headliner for the event’s debut. The Scare is one of the hardest working bands in Australia. They have been touring extensively over the summer with performances at Homebake, Big Day Out, & Park Life. Their debut album was released in 2009 to critical acclaim, and more recently they played two successful headline shows at Spectrum, performing their OOZEVOODOO album in full.

Joining The Scare will be a number of great performers, including Zeahorse, Hailer, L.U.S.T., The Optionals, The Free Agent Crew, Pockets, Andy Golledge, Ribbons Patterns, The Go Roll Your Bones, House of Beggars, Bayonets for Legs, Suite Nonchalant and Braden Evans.

Tickets for the event will be available through Moshtix, with a limited 1st release at $16.50, while the remainder will be $19.50.
